Truly amazing. Jan has exactly the right expression and look for someone who is very philosophical. The pictures with the light of the television shining back in his face while he adjusts to different positions reminds me when I was young and single watching late night TV to forget the world.
Jan is not young but the feeling is conveyed just the same. That feeling you must do this ritual or you cannot survive the next day.

I’m blushing… Jan is working every day in the Cafe, “Cafe Leben” translates to “Cafe Life”, and he has a very philosophical outlook on life, but sometimes, on his off-days he goes on nighttime TV marathon, yes, to relax from all the philosophy. But then he finds new things and ideas in everyday shows, particularly the commercials! Like Any Warhol, America’s most talented Surrealist. Maybe Jan would not have done that as a young man, though. Maybe he would have lived life more from the inside than watching life from a sofa in a box.
