sheep or shadow?

By January 2021 I  was questioning the mismatching aspects of actual 3d sculptures and their generic 2d photographic depictions for online documentation and an attempt bringing them closer together

Further, as in particular my lamb sculptures had received certain popularity, apparently because of them “being cute” I was looking for ways to direct the attention of the audience to the actual shape of the figures, for example the shape of a lamb, without focusing on their cuteness, this because in my opinion I had created just ‘sculptures of lambs’, and lambs are coincidentally cute by nature, but I had not intentionally created a ‘series of cute lamb sculptures’.

I realized within the field of media art and also applied computer graphics there exist already a number of options that much better (?) already visualize the thoughts I was experimenting with, technical options I was lagging behind, trying to develop on my own. At the same time I felt these media in their constantly expanding formats lack the abilities of direct transfer of emotions that tangible art has and so I decided to abandon this project and concentrate on tangible work, next to my animations, as ultimately I feel this work must anyways be seen and experienced on a 1:1 level and not in form of any reproduction.
