ホテル Hotel – the Making of Chiaki and 蝶々ChoCho, compare with Jitka Cerhová

I thought to speed up the creation of the hotel figures I could make two or more at a time. I am not sure if my theory works out, really, I only save on the kiln time, otherwise, due to the bloody joints, hair and costumes, it seems to still take ages to get them ready. In any case, here the ‘Making of” Chiaki and 蝶々ChoCho:

ChoCho got his name, 蝶々(“butterfly”), obviously from his gorgeous chest tattoo (I can give you also the address of the tattoo artist, in case of interest)…

Here both in the kiln, almost a biblical image:

and Chiaki, with make-up:

It wasn’t my plan, but for some reason Chiaki (with make-up) reminds me of Jitka Cerhová in Sedmikrásky /Daisies, (1966,Věra Chytilová), maybe just because I have a poster of her hanging in my studio, check for yourself (the brunette):

But what do I know? I’m faceblind. Anyways. Maybe if I give her pigtails…
