ホテル Hotel – diamond earrings, an old jacket and Starfish and Chiaki get into a fight (finally!)

Hmm. The day has come. To celebrate Miss Molly’s success with the upcoming audition at “Cafe Leben” our Starfish went off and bought her diamond earrings. Personally I think it is a little too soon, because if Molly doesn’t get the part she will have to keep auditioning and who knows how often Starfish can pull such a stunt, but it’s none of my business, I am only here to take the photographs.

But, BIG BUT, the trouble is: Mr. Starfish, in order to be able to afford the earring gift for the lady of his heart has sold his expensive Victorian Expectations -jacket. (Yep, the one he had bought from the money I had paid him when he was first modelling for me, that one). Not that it is up to me to tell him what to do and not to do with his stuff, see above, I am in this case an observer, no more. But finally Miss Chiaki stepped in, or better: blew up.

Not in public, she did not go that far, but she went to his room and flipped, in fact they both flipped and you could hear them yell back and forth along the corridor, even if you didn’t try. And for that reason we, or everyone who lives on Starfish’s floor and who was in and awake, is now perfectly well informed that Starfish did not just sell the jacket, he also invested a bunch of his savings that was supposed to go into the next stage sex-change and Miss Chiaki had a big problem with that.
She told him, he was going way too far, Molly was only taking him for a ride until she had what she wanted, and he had had big plans for his life (completing his sex-change), and now at sight of the first Miss Wonderbra he was throwing everything overboard to worship this little tramp. (Ops.) Molly would suck him dry without as much as noticing he actually existed, and when she was done with him she would simply step over him and move on.
Starfish yelled back it was none of Chiaki’s business, neither what he would do or not do with his clothes, nor his savings nor about his sex-change, and she should for once learn to stay out of other people’s business and instead better go shooting up with Larry. (Ops.) He also pointed out in an unusually loud and energetic way that she was only jealous because for once she had some serious concurrence and was no longer the most celebrated diva around and she should better cool down and make a little space for another person who simply had a ton of talent in all those areas where Chiaki was only dabbling around. (Ops. Ops. Oooops.)

Then we all could hear door slamming and a fuming Chiaki stomping into her own room, more door slamming and then she left the hotel for the evening and we did not see (or hear) her come back that night, so it may be safely assumed she spent the night elsewhere. Oh dear. Well, at least the stormy weather that at least I had been anxiously waiting for had come, exploded and hopefully passed for time being. Since Chiaki wasn’t home I took the convenient situation to take some portrait shots of Molly with her new earrings and Starfish, admittedly in a pretty shabby second hand jacket, he had picked up from God-knows-where.
